What this report tells you
The network diagnostic runs three checks against the host you enter and combines them into one report:
Reachability & latency — pings the host to confirm it responds and measures round-trip time. High latency or packet loss points to a slow or unstable route.
DNS records — resolves the host's DNS (A records) so you can confirm it points where you expect.
Common open ports — scans the well-known ports (HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, mail, databases…) to see which services are reachable. Note: hosts behind Cloudflare and port 25 (SMTP) are blocked by the platform and will show as closed.
