What these numbers mean
Ping (latency)
How long data takes to make a round trip. Lower is better: under 30 ms is excellent, under 60 ms is good, and over 100 ms starts to feel laggy in video calls and games.
Jitter
How much your ping varies. Low jitter means a stable connection — important for video calls and gaming, where a spiky connection stutters even when the average ping looks fine. Under 10 ms is ideal.
Bufferbloat
How much your latency rises when the connection is busy. Grade A means your connection stays responsive under load; a poor grade means calls and games will lag whenever something is downloading in the background.

What is jitter?
Jitter is the variation in your ping over time. Low jitter (under 10 ms) means a stable connection; high jitter causes stutter in calls and games even when average ping looks fine.
What is bufferbloat?
Bufferbloat is the spike in latency that happens when your connection is under load, such as during a large download. We ping while downloading and grade the increase — a low increase (grade A) means your connection stays responsive under load.
Why is my speed lower than my plan?
Browser-based tests measure real throughput over your current Wi-Fi and device, which is affected by signal strength, other devices, and background apps. It reflects what you actually get, which is often below the ISP's advertised peak.
Is this speed test accurate?
It measures against Cloudflare's global edge network using sustained parallel streams, entirely in your browser. In side-by-side checks it lands within a few percent of Ookla's Speedtest on the same connection.
